Just a bit rusty. I clamped the bolt end in my vise and used a big wrench to finally free it. All the dirt that was inside the nut box on the rusty bolt. With the rusty nut cleaned up and replaced, the hole in Estimated Reading Time: 7 mins.

I don't, so when I replaced mine I just kept drilling a series of holes into the old rubber until I could knock them out, then cleaned up afterwards with a wire wheel.
